How the league runs

The league

EIL is a competitive indoor golf league built around progression, structure and a player profile that lasts. Every round matters, every player has a rank, and every season creates history.

The calendar

Every month is an event of 2 rounds, each open for 2 weeks. The first season runs from November to June: 8 events and 16 rounds. After that the league runs every month except July, 11 events a year. 12 divisions from the Seed Division to the Pro League; the top of each moves up and the bottom moves down between events.

The rules

Play on Trackman simulators under standardized conditions, whenever it suits you inside the round. Tees vary by division for balance. Rankings and movement are calculated by the league, not by hand.

Your profile

Your division history, achievements and statistics build up over every season you play. Badges reward both performance and longevity.

Common questions

What is the European Indoor League?

The European Indoor League (EIL) is a competitive league for simulator golf, played on Trackman simulators at certified venues across Europe. Every month is an event of two rounds, and players are ranked in 12 divisions with promotion and relegation between events.

When does the season run?

The first season runs from November to June: 8 events and 16 rounds. After that the league runs every month except July, 11 events a year.

How do the divisions work?

There are 12 divisions: the Seed Division, Division 10 up to Division 1, and the Pro League at the top. At the end of every event the top players in each division move up a division and the bottom players move down.

How do I play my rounds?

Each round is open for a window of around two weeks. Play it on a Trackman simulator at any certified EIL venue whenever it suits you. Your results come in from Trackman and the league calculates the standings.

What is the first event worth?

Trackman has put €5,000 into the league's first event, the November event, shared between the top 10, and released 5 places on the Next Golf World Tour Series to the players who finish highest. A player already qualified for that event keeps their qualification and the place passes to the next player in the standings. Round 1 runs 1 – 12 November and round 2 15 – 25 November. Everyone plays this event in the Seed Division.

Who can join, and what does it cost?

Anyone can join by registering a player profile and connecting their Trackman account. New players start in the Seed Division. Playing is free: there is no fee to register and no membership to keep up. The venues carry the league.

How can a venue host the league?

Simulator venues with Trackman technology can apply to become a certified EIL venue. €499 for the first year, per location, as a Founders Venue. Sign up before 31 October for €499. From 1 November the price is €995. RUFF Centers are included at no cost.
